Description
Inspired by the style of mid-19th century Chinese chessboards, the Signature Chinese Chess Set has been reimagined through the hands of experienced artisans, who have infused it with a renewed aesthetic while preserving the subtle essence of its classical influences.
The Chessboard
Walnut and pine wood exude a luxurious charm with deep brown tones and refined wood grain patterns. Precision CNC cutting ensures sharply defined edges and details for the xiangqi set board. The chessboard surface is then sanded three times and finished with a protective oil coating, delivering a lasting sheen and timeless durability.
The Chess Pieces
Crafted from brass and premium PU leather, these chinese chess board pieces embody a refined harmony between luxurious aesthetics and lasting durability.
The solid brass weight delivers a satisfying hand feel, while also producing a distinctive acoustic effect with every move, enhancing the sense of enjoyment in a fully immersive playing experience reminiscent of an antique chinese chess set.
From Sketches to Form
Our creative journey begins with inspiring conceptual sketches crafted by talented artists. From initial pencil drawings to fully rendered visuals, every design detail is meticulously refined to achieve perfection in each product, whether designing a contemporary or a vintage chinese chess set.
Elevating the Experience
The Signature Chinese Chess Set is part of the Maztermind Signature Collection, where classic elegance inspired by Victorian-era design is subtly blended with the raw, minimalist aesthetics of Industrial interior style. It offers a fresh perspective for lovers of a xiangqi chinese chess set.

Strengthening Bonds
A game of chess often begins as a duel between two players. Yet, it gradually becomes a gathering where more people join in. Some observe each move, others discuss strategies, while a few offer advice to the players in action—creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Together, these moments form a familiar cultural beauty of every Chinese chess game, bringing people closer and bridging all distances.
A Striking Focal Point for Any Space
Inheriting the classic brown tones of authentic Eastern heritage found in a chinese chess set antique piece, the Signature Chinese Chess Set is further refined with minimalist touches and an elevated sense of luxury from premium materials, making it a captivating centerpiece in any display space.
A Meaningful Gift
The Signature Chinese Chess Set is a refined and elegant gift, allowing you to express your care and affection for loved ones in the most thoughtful way. Sit together and share meaningful moments, embarking on a nostalgic journey back to the timeless and classic values of the East.

Good quality and fast shipping!
This set is better even than expected! It is heavy, more than five pounds, constructed from high quality materials. The case lines up perfectly, owing to the care in putting it together. It comes more than well wrapped. It is the right size for games in cafes and in public, where an oversize set wouldn't do. A feature that I really love, it is printed in regular printed characters, where most other sets available are hard to read in a cursive style. It makes for a very easy set to read for those of us not familiar with the Chinese characters. This was well worth the purchase price!
